I’m often asked, “What’s the main reason for training my team?” It’s simple. While certification and qualification are critical business components, the first and foremost reason for training is safety.
A well trained installer will employ workplace safety practices established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The safety of the installer and a safely installed system are key elements to the progression of the alternative energy industry.
There are several forums for education such as the typical one day introduction course through the local tech college. However, few offer events that speed you and your employee onward to safely and properly installed systems integrated specific manufacturer product training.
We’ve set out to achieve both: improve safe practices and accelerate skill building around specific products, products types, and techniques.
Our events are presented in a workshop setting. However, since there is no substitute for hands-on training for an installer our events will include a combination of instructor led coursework and hands-on use of products.
